Endometrial stromal neoplasia: An uncommon tumor at a tertiary health centre in coastal India

Introduction and Aim: Stromal malignancies of uterus are rare accounts for 1-3% all female genital tract malignancies. Methodology: Histopathologically diagnosed cases endometrial stromal neoplasia over period 5 years from 2013 2017 were retrieved. The analysed based on age, tumor size types. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was done whenever feasible. Results: During period, we found 25 neoplasia. composed four nodule (ESN), six low grade sarcoma (ESS) three ESS with smooth muscle differentiation. Twelve carcinosarcomas adenosarcomas single case undifferentiated uterine seen. mean age at presentation Mixed epithelial (Carcinosarcoma) 61 while that ESN 46 47 respectively. 3.6cm (1.5-6cm), 4.5 cm (2-9.9 cm) 4.9 (2.5-16 cm). Conclusion: Endometrial should be after proper evaluation morphology, findings in correlation presentation.
